Measuring and Preparing Your Walls.

Before you begin, make sure to measure your walls. Simply measure the width of your wall, and the height, then pop your measurements into our handy wallpaper calculator to see how many sheets you will need. There is no need to account for doors or windows in your measurements as these will not impact how many sheets you will need. Once that’s done, you’ll want to clean your walls before installing the wallpaper. A damp cloth should do the trick and then let it air dry before installation. This will ensure all surfaces are clean, smooth, and free of dust or dirt before sticking on the wallpaper!

Applying the Wallpaper.

Before starting, grab your squeegee included in your box, and a maybe a friend! This will help you get a nice, even wallpaper application. Peel and stick wallpaper strips back easily and can be applied the way they come off the sheet. Start at one corner of the wall and line up the edges at the top, then slowly roll it down as you go. Be sure to use your squeegee to smooth out any air bubbles or creases while sticking it down. Pro tip - if you see a large bubble appear which wont come out with a squeegee, simply prick a tiny hole on the wallpaper with your x-acto knife (or similar) and then smooth out the bubble with your squeegee tool.

 

Removing Peel and Stick Wallpaper Cleanly.

Removing peel and stick wallpaper is a cinch compared to traditional wallpaper. All you need to do is slowly peel away each strip of wallpaper, starting at the top corner of the wall and working your way down. If any glue is left behind, you can simply use a damp cloth to clean it off. Make sure not to pull too hard or be rough when removing the wallpaper, as it could damage your wall surface underneath.
